Mac OS User Tabbing
For Mac OS users, there is a system setting that may not allow you to tab onto several types of elements in a web page. To change this setting:
Open System Preferences and go to Keyboard:
Select the Shortcuts tab. Make sure the box for "Use keyboard navigation to move focus between controls" is checked.
Additional settings for Safari Browser.
Open Safari Preferences:
Select the Advanced tab. Make sure the box for "Press Tab to highlight each item on a webpage" is checked.
I spent eight and a half years in law enforcement in Illinois. The first year was as a dispatcher and the last seven and a half were as a police officer and homicide detective. I served on a homicide task force for three years and was an active evidence technician for 6 years. I am certified in tactical medical applications and was an active shooter scenario-based trainer for 3 years. I won shift officer of the year in 2011 and 2014. During my last year in law enforcement, I was working to get my master’s in education from the University of Phoenix online and then moved to Arizona at the end of 2014 and began my student teaching at Poston Butte High School, where I have been ever since. I have been teaching the Biotechnology track since the inception of the program and have been the Coordinator since 2017. We have produced many successful students that have gone on to work in labs and get published in their undergraduate education.
