Eddie Lopez

My family has lived in the San Tan Valley since 2004. We have seen the growth and changes through the years.  We are excited to see the Florence Unified School District continue to blossom in our area with top rated schools throughout the area.  We will continue to provide academic and social learning to all students as our top goal is to prepare all students to be college or career ready by the time that they graduate from high school.
I have been married for many years to my lovely wife, Liisa.  We have six children that have attended FUSD schools.  During my educational career, I have been a classroom teacher for eight years and in administration for over ten years.  I enjoy being in education to help students meet their educational goals and provide an opportunity for academic success.  United as a community and a school, we will continue to build this great community as a top county within our state.  

Dr. Stacey Berklan

I have been living and teaching in Arizona since 2006. I have taught Business and Technology and Mathematics at the Middle and High School level. Prior to Arizona, I was born and raised in Chicago, IL, where I worked in International Publishing and Advertising for over a decade.
I am proud to be at Poston Butte, where we can offer exciting opportunities for all of our students, whether it be STEM, JROTC, College, AP, or many of the Skill and Trade programs offered through CAVIT.
I enjoy helping students and families navigate through their educational and career choices and hope to help Poston continue to grow and support our community.

Lawrence Williams

My name is Lawrence Williams and I’m excited to be Poston Butte High School's new Athletic Director. I’ve been an educator for fifteen years, with the last three years being at Magma Ranch K8 as the Dean of Students and Athletic Director. I am very passionate about education and believe that all students can contribute and encourage others to grow on campus in and outside the classroom. I hold a Master’s Degree in Education Administration from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor’s Degree from Arizona State University.

My educational philosophy is to create as many opportunities for success as possible for the students at Poston Butte High School. I believe that our students can accomplish great things and perform at their highest level when students, family, school, and community are all working together towards common goals. Go Broncos!

Beverly Hackett

My name is Beverly Hackett and I am the Dean of Academics here at Post Butte High School. I am proud to return to the Florence family as I started my educational journey 12 years ago at Copper Basin. I attended the University of Las Vegas and University of Phoenix where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Human/ Services/Business Management and a Masters in Art of Education.

I am a blessed mother of two beautiful boys. We are an athletic family, so I look forward to showing my Bronco Pride at various sporting events. My passion and love are not only for my boys, but with every student, I have the opportunity to get to know them. In my free time, I love going home to visit my parents and family in California and my extended family in Mississippi. I am excited to work alongside teachers, students, and the Bronco Community.

Robert Maloney

I have been in education for 8 years and I am so excited to call Poston Butte home. I have taught and lived in Arizona for 5 years now. Prior to that I taught in California for 3 years. Throughout my career I have taught US History, World History, Government, Econ, Psychology and AP Psychology. I hold a Master’s Degree in Education from Concordia University, Irvine and a Bachelor’s degree from California State University, Dominguez Hills. I am currently working on my Masters of Education, Educational Leadership at Arizona State University. I have been married to my beautiful wife since 2019 and we are raising two amazing daughters.

I look forward to working with our teachers and staff to continue implement the latest and highest level of instruction to give every one of our students the chance to success. GO BRONCOS!

Lanette Barrett

My name is Lanette Barret and I am one of the Instructional Coaches here at Poston Butte. My family has lived in Arizona since 1999 and we have lived in San Tan Valley since 2005.  It is exciting to see how our area continues to grow and change. I have been married for many years to my husband, Bob, and we have three adult daughters. I have been an educator for 28 years and have been in the Florence Unified School District for 17 years..  I’ve had the privilege of holding a variety of positions including Classroom Teacher, Data Coordinator, Dean of Students and as a Mentor and Instructional Coach.  I am passionate about using my years of experience to support teachers, staff, and students as we strive together to provide quality education and success for all students.

Patrick Hold

Hello Bronco’s!! My name is Patrick “Tyler” Hold and I am one of the Instructional Coaches at Poston Butte.  I’m a true Arizona Native, born and raised in Arizona. I graduated from the University of Arizona with a BS in Health Sciences and received my M.S. from Grand Canyon University in Educational Technology. I have been an educator for 29 years and have been in the Florence Unified School District for 9 amazing years.  I have taught K-6 Physical Education, 6-8 Science and most recently taught Geometry here at Poston Butte for the past 9 years.  I have coached volleyball, softball, and men’s volleyball and currently coach the Unified Sports teams at PBHS.  As an instructional coach, I’m excited to help fellow educators improve their teaching skills and provide quality education and success for all students.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my wife Brandi, and our two boys Matthew and Gage. I relax camping in the great outdoors and playing golf.
